Thursday
morning is the big day for Erik Wecks and Brian Stiger. They
will both head to Northern Uganda for the next two weeks.
Both
men are from Imago Dei Community, and will be visiting Jeff
and Michele Theisen,
and the Amazing
Grace Orphanage.
"Hopefully
it increases my faith to understand how God is working even
in circumstances like that," Erik says as finishes some last
minute plans for the trip. (see
video)
Their
suitcases are packed with donations. Their living room is full
of books, toys, stickers, school supplies, candy, shoes, and
clothes. The donations have come in from Texas, Arkansas,
Oregon and Washington.
Brian
took a moment to describe the reason he is headed to the region.
"The people that are there, the people that are in Christ's
church,
I feel a responsibility to support them, because they are my
family."
